TANDIKEK

Before there are soaps, detergent, and many tools for washing in my district Mandailing, Indonesia. People used Tandikek to wash the garment. Tandikek is a fruit of a tree. It is monocotyle type. The fruit is not so big. It is about as bigness of wine. At the first time, the fruit was green on a tree. When it will go mature, it will become red. When we hold and shell this fruit. It had many bubble. It was suitable to make soap. No body likes Tandikek any more. People has not been using Tandikek since 1960. Mandailing has arrived new era. Day by day, Mandailingnese has been feeling the modernism. The people of Mandailing is same dagree with the other people in around the world now. Many lader of Indonesia come from Mandailing. The story about tandikek. Just for remember the story.
